Just a thought…

…is there a site that’s, like, a guide to englishness for foreign writers?

The little details like how our phone numbers are put together, what our street signs and signals look like, what we call different styles of car and the parts of them, where we go to tax our cars, words and phrases we just don’t use and ones we often do, all those little things that often give away the non-native writer?

If there isn’t something like that, would people be interested in one? Maybe one where you can submit questions or entire fics to be analysed?
